My thoughts on the Avengers: Age of Ultron & and Marvel slate of films. By Adam Blasucci 12/1/2014
Here are my thoughts on the trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron. It looks awesome. Bigger than the original. James Spader’s voice is threatening, scary mechanical. He is a good villain. CGI motion capture of Spader is very realistic. Avengers to fight an epic adventure. The Hulk and the Hulk Buster Iron Man armored in action looks great. I love that use of the haunting version of the Pinocchio song “I Have No Strings On Me” it’s a great allusion to Ultron wanting to be a real boy not a robot and being free from his Creator Iron Man. You could say it’s a subversive twisted take on the classic Disney song. Only made possible because Marvel is now owned by Disney. It’s hard to see but The Vision can be glanced in the trailer. There are also hints to future heroes included in the Marvel cinematic universe like Klaw the Black Panthers mortal enemy played by Andy Sircus (he’s sure making his rounds in every major fantasy franchise Lord Of the Rings, The Planet of the Apes, The Hobbit and the next Star Wars installment). The Black Panthers is making his official appearance in Capt. America: Civil War.
it’s a very exciting time to be a comic book fan again from now until 2020 yes finally.

My thoughts on the Star Wars: Episode Seven The Force Awakens. Adam
Some people may be lukewarm to the new Star Wars trailer release in theaters and online simultaneously Friday. Well I’m excited it looks excellent. The new three pronged Sith or INQUISITOR light saber is threatening and scary and now surely has a sword appearance reminiscent of Excalibur King Arthur’s legendary sword.
The X- Wings flying over the planet surface was an awesome sight along with the Tie Fighters and the reappearance after 37 years of The Millennium Falcon brought you back to your childhood. This time around Star Wars is now a fully ethnic world with people of color. But no one the aliens and humanoids really in my opinion represent our world perfectly. Great job JJ keep it up.

The Evil Dead comes to TV: from October 2014 from
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell will both return to their cult favorite horror series Evil Dead for a new series on Starz.

The series, titled Ash vs. Evil Dead, will see Campbell reprise his role as Ash amidst a new Deadite invasion.

The series will consist of 10 half-hour episodes, debuting in 2015. Raimi will direct the pilot, which will be co-written by himself, Ivan Raimi, and Tom Spezialy.

“Starz first worked with Sam and Rob on Spartacus, and we are thrilled to be back in business with them,” said Carmi Zlotnik, managing director of Starz. “With Sam writing and directing and Bruce Campbell returning to the screen, we are certain the show will give Evil Dead fans around the world the fix they’ve been craving.”

“Evil Dead has always been a blast. Bruce, Rob, and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the next chapter in Ash’s lame, but heroic saga. With his chainsaw arm and his ‘boomstick,’ Ash is back to kick some monster butt. And brother, this time there’s a truckload of it,” said Raimi.

“I’m really excited to bring this series to the Evil Dead fans worldwide — it’s going to be everything they have been clamoring for: serious deadite ass-kicking and plenty of outrageous humor,” said Campbell.

Ray Santiago (Touch) and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) have been cast opposite Bruce Campbell in Starz’s 10-episode series Ash Vs Evil Dead, the followup to the cult film franchise. In it, Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal. Santiago, repped by TalentWorks, Levity Entertainment Group and Ginsburg Daniels, will play Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick – a Sancho Panza to Ash’s Don Quixote. Pablo believes in Ash’s heroism even if Ash himself doesn’t. DeLorenzo, repped by TalentWorks, 3 Arts and Ginsburg Daniels, is Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past. Reluctantly dragged into the fight against Evil with Ash and Pablo, Kelly finds a different kind of family with her fellow Deadite slayers. The series is set to film on location in New Zealand this spring for premiere on Starz in late 2015.
