Here’s how the movie is described:

“Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) — reborn as The Mother Fucker — only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

“When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy. Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire — leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes.

“Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother Fucker, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all.”

Kick-Ass 2 was written and directed by Jeff Wadlow.

TEEN TITANS GO! PREMIERES APRIL 23

Cartoon Network has announced a Tuesday, April 23 (7:30 p.m., ET/PT) premiere for Teen Titans Go!, a re-imagined version of the animated series featuring the DC Comics characters.

Episodes will premiere in Cartoon Network’s Tuesday night, with rebroadcasts on Saturday’s during the DC Nation block. Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice Invasion will end their run on March 16, and Beware the Batman will premiere this summer.

Here’s how the series is described:

“The Teen Titans are returning to Cartoon Network with all-new comedic adventures, and this time they’re giving viewers a look at what life is really like as a teen superhero… once the cape comes off.

“The character-driven comedy series focuses on the funny that happens in between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. The comedic mayhem of the animated series is punctuated by pranks and the occasional need to fight crime, but it will also deal with the everyday issues of adolescence. With epic staring contests to decide who does the laundry, a series of quests and battles to construct the perfect sandwich or fighting crime in Jump City, one thing is for sure, these Titans will always be ready for an adventure inside the house and out.”

The principal voice cast from the original series returns, include Scott Menville as Robin, Hynden Walch as Starfire, Tara Strong as Raven, Greg Cipes returns as Beast Boy; and Khary Payton as Cyborg.

The theme song from the original Teen Titans will also return, with an updated remix from Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys.
