* Marvel Comics has announced Age of Ultron, a 10-issue limited series beginning in March running through June. It will be written by Brian Michael Bendis, with issues #1-5 art by Bryan Hitchand the remianing art by Brandon Peterson and Carlos Pacheco.

“Age of Ultron is about Ultron, one of our biggest villains ever, finally fulfilling his destiny, which is taking the Earth,” Bendis said. “From the very first page, Ultron has taken the Marvel Universe and everything is changed. There is a shocking amount of destruction and devastation. It started in Avengers, but it’s meant to be a Marvel Universe book. It stars everyone.”

Here’s how Marvel describes the story:

“Ultron, a deadly sentient robot created by founding Avenger Hank Pym who turned on his creator to achieve his twisted objective…the utter destruction of humanity. Now that Ultron has conquered, enslaving most of the world’s super heroes, it’s up to a small group of resistance fighters — including Invisible Woman, Taskmaster, Beast, Emma Frost, She-Hulk, Luke Cage, Spider-Man, Wolverine and Moon Knight — to find a way overcome darkness and bring hope back a world that has suddenly lost everything. Once this landmark ten-issue event concludes, the reverberations will be felt in every corner of the Marvel Universe, leaving no hero or villain unscathed.”

The story will have tie-ins, including Fantastic and Four and Superior Spider-Man in March.

“I could not be more excited for this book to hit the stands,” Bendis said. “Literally not a day has gone by over the last year where people haven’t asked me when it was coming. I know that people are looking forward to it, so to finally debut it and for it to be, I imagine, much more than people thought it was going to be, is great. It’s beautiful. It takes one of Marvel’s classic villains to a level he’s never been before, takes the heroes to a place they’ve never had to go, and ends in a way you will never guess.”

Boy was episode 4 of season 3 of The Walking Dead was brutal and intense.

T.Dog you’ll be sadly missed. Lurie giving birth and died. I don’t know the rest

of the survivors especially Rick and his son are going to pull out of this tragic situation.

Rick’s reaction really was truly heartbreaking. I guess Rick should of killed Andrew right out

and this terrible chain reaction wouldn’t have happened. Whatever the writers are little twisty.

But it’s great television.

DC Comics has announced that world-renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson appears in the back-up stores in Action Comics#14, in stores on Wednesday.

In the “Star Light, Star Bright” story, Tyson helps Superman find his home planet of Krypton on its final day of existence. Tyson has also announced an actual location for a Krypton-like system in our known universe.

“This is a major milestone in the Superman mythos that gives our super hero a place in the universe,” said DC Entertainment co-publisher, Dan DiDio. “Having Neil deGrasse Tyson in the book was one thing, but by applying real-world science to this story he has forever changed Superman’s place in history. Now fans will be able to look up at the night’s sky and say, ‘that’s where Superman was born.'”

The red dwarf star designated for having the ability to support a Krypton-like planet is located in the constellation Corvus 27.1 light years from Earth.

Tyson has a well-documented history applying science to entertainment in order to make the subject accessible and exciting to the public. He is the Director of Hayden Planetarium at the AmericanMuseum of Natural History, which since its founding in 1935 has served as the premier conduit between the frontier of cosmic discovery and the public’s appreciation of it. Tyson also recently made headlines by getting film director James Cameron to alter the night’s sky as seen in The Titanic due to inaccuracies. The adjustment was made and can be seen in the re-release of Titanic 3D.

“As a native of Metropolis, I was delighted to help Superman, who has done so much for my city over all these years,” Tyson said. “And it’s clear that if he weren’t a superhero he would have made quite an astrophysicist.”

The story is written by Sholly Fisch, a veteran in the educational media field and comic-book writer.
